Website enquiry forms
Gap to assess
One broad checkbox; no record of which notice the user saw.
How we help
Scope clearer notice journeys and purpose-linked records with approved content.
DPDP consent management system development
Connect consent, business systems and operational ownership. Plan the implementation across your websites, applications and customer data workflows.
Scrupulous Technology scopes and develops consent-management workflows for Indian companies, working with your IT, business and legal-review teams.
Approved notices · Choice records · Withdrawal events
What changes for existing systems?
You may not need to replace your software. First identify where personal data enters, which systems use it and how a change in user choice reaches those systems. The examples below are implementation gaps to assess, not findings about your company.
One broad checkbox; no record of which notice the user saw.
Scope clearer notice journeys and purpose-linked records with approved content.
A withdrawal is recorded on the website but does not reach the communication list.
Assess preference synchronization, consent checks, failed updates and staff review queues.
Choices are difficult to find or differ between web and app accounts.
Design a preference centre and map identity matching across connected journeys.
Copies have unclear owners, access and follow-up responsibilities.
Map records and scope controlled access, request tracking and approved retention actions.
Teams assume consent applies to every activity or that a vendor handles all obligations.
Map processing and record ownership with your advisers, then implement the agreed technical controls.
Why start before rollout?
Clear notices and easy-to-find choices help people understand how information is used. Connected updates help teams avoid continuing an optional activity after a choice changes.
A defined workflow gives staff a record to follow, an owner for each request and a way to review failed integrations. It also makes gaps easier to discuss with legal and security advisers.
Consent is not the only basis recognized by the Act. Your advisers should map applicable permitted uses, exemptions and sector requirements before a workflow is implemented.
Who this helps
A single checkbox becomes difficult to manage when notices change, users withdraw consent or information moves into CRM and other tools. This service helps product, operations and privacy teams define a connected implementation.
Assess enquiry forms, account registration, app onboarding and optional communications. Separate each purpose and identify where a choice needs to be recorded or checked.
Map where records flow after collection and who owns follow-up actions. A preference centre needs integration and operating procedures to keep changes effective.
Enterprise implementation ownership
Assess integration access, identity matching, authentication, event handling and the existing system architecture.
Define who handles requests, what happens when an update fails and how completion is reviewed.
Approve purposes, notices, applicability, exceptions and operating policies before implementation.
What we can scope and build
Features are agreed during discovery with your business and legal advisers. This is a custom development service, not a claim that a certified, ready-made product is available.
Design readable notices and purpose-specific choices using content approved by your advisers, with version and language requirements agreed in scope.
Define the record fields needed to link a choice to its purpose and notice version, including timestamps and changes where appropriate.
Create a clear route to review or change choices and track the resulting action across agreed systems.
Assess APIs, access and system ownership. Scope events, consent checks, retries and exception handling for connected tools.
Define request intake, responsible owners, verification steps and status tracking around your approved operating procedures.
Plan authorized access, activity records, retention controls and review exports against the requirements agreed for your application.
Example consent lifecycle
Show the approved notice and purpose at the appropriate point in the journey.
Capture the choice with the agreed notice reference and supporting record fields.
Pass relevant choices to connected systems and check how exceptions are handled.
Support withdrawal or updates and track completion of downstream actions.
Illustrative architecture. Legal basis, exceptions and retention decisions require business-specific review.

Other breaches of the Act or Rules.
These are selected statutory ceilings, not automatic fines or a universal ₹250 crore consent penalty. The Board determines penalties after inquiry, considering the breach and relevant factors. Act, section 33 and Schedule.
Start requirements planning now: data mapping, approved notices, integration work and validation take preparation. Software supports your operating process; it does not guarantee compliance or eliminate penalties.
Scrupulous provides software development and integration and does not claim registered Consent Manager status. Your legal advisers confirm obligations; our team scopes and implements the agreed system work.
Technical discovery
We assess existing websites, apps, CRM and custom applications before choosing an integration approach. API capabilities, authentication, identity matching, hosting and data flows determine what is feasible.
Define what happens when an update fails, how staff review exceptions, and which system owns each record. Access controls, retention, backups and documentation are agreed in scope.
Example solution; connections depend on available APIs and approved requirements.
Delivery and handover
Identify journeys, purposes, data flows and legal-review owners.
Agree notices, records, interfaces, integrations and acceptance checks.
Check choices, withdrawal, permissions, failed updates and exception paths.
Agree documentation, staff onboarding, maintenance and future updates.
A cookie banner is one interface. A project may also need notices and choices in forms or apps, records, withdrawal handling and links to business systems. Your advisers determine the applicable legal requirements.
This service offers software development and integration. We do not claim registration as a Consent Manager under the DPDP framework.
No. Software supports agreed workflows. Legal compliance also depends on your processing activities, policies, security practices and operating procedures, assessed by your advisers.
We assess APIs, permissions, identity matching and current architecture before defining integration scope. Compatibility is confirmed during technical discovery.
Not necessarily. We assess configuration, customization and API options first. The initial scope can focus on one priority journey; replacement is considered only where existing tools cannot support the agreed requirements.
